Open your KTuner or Hondata PC software. Within the KTuner or Hondata software, click on "File" in the menu bar, and then select "Open" or "Open Tune". At this point, the tune will load. You may be presented with notes regarding the tune, if so, click "OK" to continue. Connect your KTuner or Hondata device.
Plug tuner into car, half start the car like above, pair the tuner to your phone with Bluetooth (the pin is the last 4 or 5 digits on the tuner itself, on the white sticker), download/install ktuner ap, load the ap, buy the $5 ktuner option, close the ap, restart it.

I'm also looking for more info on this. The tune really does bring this car alive, even if it is the base engine. With a grippy/wider tire setup, and the tune with increased throttle response, the car is more fun than it has any right to be. I saw the 2-step settings but im not really sure how it works or if it is even good for the car.

Ignition timing and cam timing are clear signs for determining a tune. A/F ratio can also tell you a lot. If it goes way lean over 5k, it's not tuned.
