Im gradually getting more angle and longer drifts, but the first step is entering and exiting simple drifts while keeping the car under control. A few things/tips for starting out: - Make sure the wheel is free spinning. Try the Logitech settings from my signature, see how they feel for drifting.
In your Steam games directory, go to steamapps>common>assettocorsa>system>cfg and then open the in Notepad. Look for the DAMPER_GAIN value and change it to 0. Save the file and now the game should be playable on a G920. The only thing you lose from this is the heavy wheel feeling while the car is stopped.
Drifting- DD - Steering lock question. Hey all! Got a FFB force feedback related question that the drift community may help solve. I'm looking for a realistic steering lock setting. IM RUNNING FANATEC DD1 @ 1080deg. Seems to do the same at 900deg. When sending it deep in angle and forced to hold full lock, the steering stops at the lock proper
Street90s tyres are obviously less grippy and allow for easier drifting. More rear pressure further gives you less grip on the rear. It makes it easy to slide the rear end of the car and they tend to overheat quickly to the point where they lose their grip completely. Flat camber on the rear also gives you less friction while drifting.
Its basically trying to keep your car from rotating beyond the direction the cars pointing so will kill any slide at a worth while angle. Learn with 0% or you will develop bad habits. I learned drifting by using about 25% stability control, then as you master that lower it
TheMOZA R9 wheelbase settings can be applied to popular racing games like iRacing, Assetto Corsa, ACC, GT7, FH7, and RaceRoom. They are also compatible with professional simulators like Project Cars, rFactor, and Assetto Corsa Competizione.
